Dr. Restaurant Hospitality Consulting Group is an integrated restaurant brand and operations consulting practice built on hands-on Canadian market experience, formally founded in 2020 and headquartered in Richmond, BC (13571 Commerce Pkwy Unit 200, Richmond, BC). Our method is diagnosis before prescription: brand, product, cost structure, supply chain, store workflow and market positioning are handled as one system, and we work alongside clients through preparation, opening and expansion. The team's experience spans North America and Asia, and every engagement is advanced through dedicated functions — strategy and operations, brand and visual design, and marketing — with trademark and other specialist partners brought in where a file calls for them. Where a matter requires a professional signature, a legal opinion or a registered trademark agent, it is handled by a qualified professional.

Our founder

Ruskin Chiang — Founder & Principal Consultant. Ruskin leads the firm's strategy and operations, with 25+ years in the restaurant industry across Taiwan and Canada. His credentials include the WSET Level 2 Award in Wines, City & Guilds Level 2 Bartending, BC FoodSafe Level 1 and HACCP training. His operating background runs from front-of-house and general management of high-volume hot pot and noodle restaurants in Metro Vancouver to vice-president of operations for a national food festival — the practical base behind the firm's diagnosis-first approach.
