Cases
To date we have worked with 250+ brands across 450+ projects. The twelve engagements below are representative — new brands built end to end, rebrands and second locations, brand-building toward franchising, established-store transformations and cross-market entry. The balance of our work is not named individually, out of respect for client confidentiality; case sharing follows what clients have made public or approved.
Ember Dojo
A Japanese charcoal-grill, all-you-can-eat barbecue concept created from zero in Seattle — positioning, operating model and opening preparation, with our team advising throughout.
You Don Ya (優丼家)
A Toronto Japanese donburi brand. Building on an operating store, we organized the brand and its franchising plan — turning one good restaurant into a brand that can be replicated.
Tai Mei Lu Wei (台妹滷味)
A Toronto Taiwanese braised-snack brand. A full rebrand followed by a second location — the flavour regulars recognize, in a brand new customers can read at a glance.
A Bite of Shunde (順峰順水)
A Shunde-cuisine restaurant in Vancouver with a loyal following. Brand refresh and business model restructuring gave an established store a new way to speak to the market.
Canada Bubble Tea Festival
A signature event for Canada's tea-drink industry. Our team coordinated event planning, brand identity and trademark registration.
T&T Supermarket (大統華)
For the supermarket group, we recruited and matched talent for its food-service and food departments through the Asia Hospitality Talent Program, building a stable talent pipeline.
The Meat BBQ
An all-you-can-eat barbecue brand with locations in Richmond and Burnaby. We manage its monthly social media operations — momentum built on rhythm, not luck.
Beaver Express
A new Toronto Asian fast-casual brand built around smart cooking equipment and a standardized production system. Brand positioning, visual identity and IP, trademark layout, business licensing and the brand website — integrated by our team end to end.
Uncle Lu (萬巒豬腳)
A Taiwanese brand rooted in Wanluan and operating in Metro Vancouver for many years. The main brand, Uncle Lu, received a positioning and visual-system upgrade, alongside a younger sub-brand, LU ONE BITE.
City Golf and Dining Social Club
A members' club combining indoor golf, dining and social entertainment. Site negotiation, business model planning and space/visual consulting, through to incorporation, health licensing and liquor licensing — coordinated in one engagement.
Wren Cafe
An independent cafe in downtown Vancouver. We worked through its business model, evaluated candidate sites, and coordinated trademark registration in the brand's early stage.
Xin Pai Zibo BBQ (淄博燒烤)
A Richmond barbecue restaurant bringing Shandong's Zibo barbecue to Metro Vancouver. We joined at the preparation stage: business model, brand creation, visual design, trademark registration and site advice.
